Chillagoe is a small town set in a spectacular landscape 145 km west of Mareeba on the fringe of the vast outback and intensely proud of our pastoral and mining heritage. Our rodeo is not among the biggest, but certainly among the best and is destined to become among the best family rodeos Australia has to offer. This rodeo attracts top riders and yet encourages all local riders to participate in a wide variety of events that bring a genuine country experience to urban and city dwellers.
